Stocking scheduled for late October or early November 2007  8" to 12" Walleye

 B. Weir

DNR stocking of walleyes will be every other year.  Stocking was approximately 95,000 fingerlings, also fish census (shocking and netting) will be done every third year.  The next scheduled census will be Spring 2009

 B. Weir

Walleyes for Tomorrow, Washington County and Big Cedar Lake.  We have been notified that Walleyes for Tomorrow, Washington County Chapter will be stocking Big Cedar Lake with approximately 5,000 - 7,500 walleyes 5" - 7".  The date for this dispersal has yet to be determined.  More information to follow.

 B. Weir

Walleyes have been ordered from Brookcrest Fisheries  Cedar Grove, WI  The time frame for dispersal will approximately be: late October or early November.  Size will be 8" - 12".  The DNR stocking permit has been requested and waiting for written approval from DNR Biologist John Nelson, although verbal approval has been obtained.  A picture of stocking walleyes in October 2005 is attached below for your viewing.  These walleyes are dispersed in one dump/one location.  The reason for one dump/one location?  We only have to deal with one predator territory, hence dispense in one location.
